INES was born to develop its work in the structural engineering field covering all structure life stages: project, technical assistance, exploitation, repairing and reinforcement, and demolition.

INES activity involves all types of structures (bridges and footbridges, building, industrial works, subwayand hydraulic structures, historical constructions) and materials (masonry, wood, concrete, steel, composite materials,..)

Members and collaborators have worked in different projects from monuments restoration to analysis and auscultation of historical and conventional structures.In addition, bridges and buildings structural evaluation facing new loads caused by changes of use, repairing, reinforcement and demolition projects, and expert reports about collapse and accidents.

That wide scope of work allows to transfer data from one sector to another. On one hand, it make possible to modernize tasks in relation with maintenance and exploitation, and, on the other hand, to improve the designing of new structures allowing to check and control what is in fact built and its evolution in time.
